Employees to Help American Heart Association and Whitman-Walker Health
Continuing its commitment to community wellness, Anybill, Inc., a pioneer in cloud-based accounts payable solutions, is proud to once again support the American Heart Association, and to assist Whitman-Walker Health. With heart disease and AIDS remaining critical threats to public health, Anybill supports the search for improved treatment through participation in upcoming fundraising events.
Daphne O’Brien, Anybill Chief Administrative Officer, says the firm has formed a team with DCI Consulting Group to participate in the 2013 Greater Washington Region Heart Walk on November 9th. Each team member will raise money to contribute to Heart Association research, advocacy and public education efforts. Matt Voorhees, Anybill CEO and Co-founder, who served as event chair for the Heart Association’s 2013 Heart Ball, says he’s “…extremely proud to have employees participate and help an organization that’s near and dear to our hearts.”
Anybill also has a team participating in this year’s AIDS Walk Washington on October 26th. Money raised by the Anybill team will back Whitman-Walker Health’s HIV/AIDS programs. “(Whitman-Walker) does amazing work in providing desperately needed health care and social services,” says O’Brien. “Joining AIDS Walk Washington is very meaningful to us, and should be a great team-building event.”
